Why They Demonized Hemp - The Truth is Make You Free!
I was on the phone with a distributor today and our conversation made me mad! We were talking about hemp and what each of us are finding out about this wonderful plant. It makes me mad that our government has demonized hemp and has instilled into the mind of Americas that hemp is a drug and is only good for getting people high! This simply is not the case. Like ANYTHING else, when abused, it gets bad press. Hemp was never meant to be smoked. It's a plant that is good for food. It was created by God to nourish and heal the body.
Here's the irony...The FDA will let any Tom, Dick, Harry, Jane, Suzy, or Joyce take drugs with side affects that can lead to death! They will let the Pharmaceutical companies poison us all in the name of making you "better." No drug can make you better! The best they can do is mask symptoms. Don't get me wrong, I am not against medicine and all drugs, but I am against the conspiracy behind making hemp illegal under the FALSEHOOD that it is for drug addicts and ex-hippies...thus is not good for society.
Let's talk about marijuana and its distant cousin industrial hemp. Marijuana can get you high if you smoke it. Industrial hemp will probably make you sick if you try smoking it. I am against smoking marijuana for the high. But I am for both marijuana and industrial hemp for their nutritional and healing properties. It has been proven that hemp can heal cancer and many other diseases. Industrial hemp seeds and oil are natures perfect food. If that's all you had to eat, your could live the rest of your life just off this one plant and live long!
Industrial hemp is also responsible for over 30,000 eco-friendly products. Industrial hemp also has earth healing properties. Ask the Russians around Chernobyl.
How about marijuana? It has awesome disease fighting properties, especially the oil! So why the demonization of both these plants? What would the economy look like without cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and the myriad of other killer diseases? There is BIG MONEY is SICKNESS! What would happen to the pink ribbons (more big money), the heart hospitals, the cancer hospitals and clinics? What would happen to all the drug companies?
What if God put the cure for many diseases right before us? It's obvious that He DID! If marijuana and industrial hemp were legalized I am pretty sure disease would go down and a lot of money would be saved.
It is against my policy to mix marijuana and industrial hemp in the same article. This site is for the promotion of industrial hemp. There is a difference between marijuana and industrial hemp and BOTH have their place in our world. I just wish our government would get out of the way so people can get healthy and live!
The more people are awakened to the TRUTH, maybe that will pressure our government to finally do something to legalize hemp. Get educated! Become knowledgeable and make a difference.

Hemp Has No Equal!
I post this because the information is good, but the producer has confused Industrial Hemp and Marijuana. They are NOT the same! I hope the confusion is not intentional. My desire with this blog is not to promote Marijuana. Though it has wonderful properties, it is misused for the "high" you get from it, and that is too bad. Industrial Hemp is a distant cousin to Marijuana and cannot make you high. Please keep this in mind as you view this video. The producer is speaking of Industrial Hemp while promoting (confusing it with) Marijuana. However, like I wrote earlier, the information is sound regarding the properties and uses of INDUSTRIAL HEMP and that is the only reason I post this.
I am a big fan of Industrial Hemp and believe it can benefit our lives, society, and economy greatly. I am part of a movement to bring about the legalization of Industrial Hemp in the United States, not Marijuana. I have a business that promotes Hemp products that are absolutely awesome. If you are interested in learning more about Hemp and the business opportunity I have, please go to my Versativa website.

Hemp & Marijuana-What's the Confusion!
Industrial Hemp is not marijuana! Industrial hemp contains less than 1% THC the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana. Let me put it this way, trying to smoke industrial hemp to get "high" would be like trying to get drunk on non alcohol beer...it ain't happening!
What's the confusion with industrial hemp and marijuana? There really isn't any! It was planned bad press from big money people like William Randolph Hearst who led a crusade to ban industrial hemp. You see Mr. Hearst owned millions of acres of prime timber land and someone just invented a simpler process to make paper from hemp. Well that could not be! Mr. Hearst would lose millions. So old Randolph, a publisher by the way, created public panic about the "evils" of hemp and marijuana.
Another big money player was Pierre DuPont. Little ole Pierre held patten rights to the sulfuric ACID wood pulp paper process. He also held pattens on nylon rope made from SYNTHETIC petrochemicals.
Basically, news isn't made...it's created! People like Hearst and DuPont with the help of politicians like Treasury Secretary Andrew Mellon, who needed their money created the panic and prevailed to outlaw industrial hemp. It continues today. Hemp is good! Hemp is better than wood and cotton for the making of paper and clothing. Hemp can be used to fuel vehicles...much better than corn. It's responsible for the manufacturing of over 25,000 products!
Versativa came up with an awesome website that explains what I am trying to say here in more detail. Take a look by clicking HERE.

Hemp and Clothing
Here is a excerpt from an article written by Susan Carpenter of the Los Angeles Times on June 22, 2011:
"On the other hand, hemp, an industrial, non-psychoactive plant that is part of the cannabis family, has been growing in popularity among clothing makers in recent years. Stella McCarthy, Calvin Klein and a host of lesser-known labels now use the fiber, which, like bamboo and flax, requires far less water and fewer pesticides to grow than cotton. Hemp, however, is not legal to grow in the U.S., so most of the material used by American clothing designers is imported from China. As a result, just 0.003 percent of U.S. garments incorporate hemp."

Hemp is a great source for clothing materials. Where is Al Gore when you really need him! Why isn't he saying anything about this eco-friendly plant? My guess is that there just isn't any money in it!
