Why They Demonized Hemp - The Truth is Make You Free!

I was on the phone with a distributor today and our conversation made me mad! We were talking about hemp and what each of us are finding out about this wonderful plant. It makes me mad that our government has demonized hemp and has instilled into the mind of Americas that hemp is a drug and is only good for getting people high! This simply is not the case. Like ANYTHING else, when abused, it gets bad press. Hemp was never meant to be smoked. It's a plant that is good for food. It was created by God to nourish and heal the body.

Here's the irony...The FDA will let any Tom, Dick, Harry, Jane, Suzy, or Joyce take drugs with side affects that can lead to death! They will let the Pharmaceutical companies poison us all in the name of making you "better." No drug can make you better! The best they can do is mask symptoms. Don't get me wrong, I am not against medicine and all drugs, but I am against the conspiracy behind making hemp illegal under the FALSEHOOD that it is for drug addicts and ex-hippies...thus is not good for society.

Let's talk about marijuana and its distant cousin industrial hemp. Marijuana can get you high if you smoke it. Industrial hemp will probably make you sick if you try smoking it. I am against smoking marijuana for the high. But I am for both marijuana and industrial hemp for their nutritional and healing properties. It has been proven that hemp can heal cancer and many other diseases. Industrial hemp seeds and oil are natures perfect food. If that's all you had to eat, your could live the rest of your life just off this one plant and live long!

Industrial hemp is also responsible for over 30,000 eco-friendly products. Industrial hemp also has earth healing properties. Ask the Russians around Chernobyl.

How about marijuana? It has awesome disease fighting properties, especially the oil! So why the demonization of both these plants? What would the economy look like without cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and the myriad of other killer diseases? There is BIG MONEY is SICKNESS! What would happen to the pink ribbons (more big money), the heart hospitals, the cancer hospitals and clinics? What would happen to all the drug companies?

What if God put the cure for many diseases right before us? It's obvious that He DID! If marijuana and industrial hemp were legalized I am pretty sure disease would go down and a lot of money would be saved.

It is against my policy to mix marijuana and industrial hemp in the same article. This site is for the promotion of industrial hemp. There is a difference between marijuana and industrial hemp and BOTH have their place in our world. I just wish our government would get out of the way so people can get healthy and live!

The more people are awakened to the TRUTH, maybe that will pressure our government to finally do something to legalize hemp. Get educated! Become knowledgeable and make a difference.

Hemp: Restoring Our Economy & Independence

This video confuses Industrial Hemp and Marijuana. THEY ARE DIFFERENT. I don't know your stand on this, but I felt to present this video for informational purposes only since the purpose of this blog is to be a resource for industrial hemp education and income opportunities regarding industrial hemp (not marijuana).

Hemp Has No Equal!

I post this because the information is good, but the producer has confused Industrial Hemp and Marijuana. They are NOT the same! I hope the confusion is not intentional. My desire with this blog is not to promote Marijuana. Though it has wonderful properties, it is misused for the "high" you get from it, and that is too bad. Industrial Hemp is a distant cousin to Marijuana and cannot make you high. Please keep this in mind as you view this video. The producer is speaking of Industrial Hemp while promoting (confusing it with) Marijuana. However, like I wrote earlier, the information is sound regarding the properties and uses of INDUSTRIAL HEMP and that is the only reason I post this.

I am a big fan of Industrial Hemp and believe it can benefit our lives, society, and economy greatly. I am part of a movement to bring about the legalization of Industrial Hemp in the United States, not Marijuana. I have a business that promotes Hemp products that are absolutely awesome. If you are interested in learning more about Hemp and the business opportunity I have, please go to my Versativa website.

Why Has the U.S. Government Outlawed Industrial Hemp?

Here we are, in a world overwhelmed by environmental and social problems. It seems that there are more problems than solutions! However, when it comes to the environment, the need for fuel, nutrition, and an alternative to chemical laden cotton the solution is right in front of us. That solution is HEMP.

Hemp is a cousin of marijuana. Hemp contains less than 1% THC making it IMPOSSIBLE to get "high" from the plant. Hemp, for thousands of years, has been used for medicine, food, textiles, and many other products. As a matter of fact, more than 30,000 products can be produced from hemp, everything from bio-fuels, to nutritional products, to building materials.

The question is, why has the government of the United States outlawed hemp? You can't get high from it, so why? You can't grow it with with marijuana. So what is the big deal? The big deal is big money. The big deal is big oil, big forestry, big cotton and big chemical companies. It's time to expose all the lies told about hemp. It's time to get educated! It's time to tell the world about this amazing plant and the millions of dollars that it could pump into our troubled economy.

There is a company that is taking a stand called ForeverGreen. ForeverGreen recently started a new product line called VERSATIVA. Versativa IS Hemp! Versativa is awesome products and a means to educated people about Hemp and its amazing potential. Not only that, Versativa offers an opportunity to make money from home promoting hemp products. Right now, Versativa has its raw food products called Pulse (with 26 raw, organic foods) and Hemphoria (food for the brain). Versativa recently released a brand new product called INSPIRIN which helps people lose the stress and ease the pain. Inspirin is Hemp seeds and Marine Phytoplankton in a special proprietary virtual message blend.

Versativa can educate you, help you educate others, and produce a nice income for you and your loved ones. To find out more go to the VERSATIVA WEBSITE.

Listen, a few months ago I knew NOTHING about Hemp, but look at me. I am passionate and trying to tell the world. Won't you join me?

Hemp & Marijuana-What's the Confusion!

Industrial Hemp is not marijuana! Industrial hemp contains less than 1% THC the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana. Let me put it this way, trying to smoke industrial hemp to get "high" would be like trying to get drunk on non alcohol beer...it ain't happening!

What's the confusion with industrial hemp and marijuana? There really isn't any! It was planned bad press from big money people like William Randolph Hearst who led a crusade to ban industrial hemp. You see Mr. Hearst owned millions of acres of prime timber land and someone just invented a simpler process to make paper from hemp. Well that could not be! Mr. Hearst would lose millions. So old Randolph, a publisher by the way, created public panic about the "evils" of hemp and marijuana.

Another big money player was Pierre DuPont. Little ole Pierre held patten rights to the sulfuric ACID wood pulp paper process. He also held pattens on nylon rope made from SYNTHETIC petrochemicals.

Basically, news isn't made...it's created! People like Hearst and DuPont with the help of politicians like Treasury Secretary Andrew Mellon, who needed their money created the panic and prevailed to outlaw industrial hemp. It continues today. Hemp is good! Hemp is better than wood and cotton for the making of paper and clothing. Hemp can be used to fuel vehicles...much better than corn. It's responsible for the manufacturing of over 25,000 products!

Versativa came up with an awesome website that explains what I am trying to say here in more detail. Take a look by clicking HERE.

Hemp and U.S. History

Hemp has been associated with marijuana for so long most people think of it as an illegal drug. However many people don't realize that industrial hemp has played a major role un U.S. history.

Before 1883, 75-90% of all paper in the United States was made with hemp.

Hemp seed, at one time in our history was the #1 selling bird feed. In 1937 4 million pounds were sold in the U.S. alone!

In the middle to later part of the 1800's the second and third most commonly used medications were made of concentrated cannabis extracts and resins.

Until the year 1937 up to 90% of all rope and twine was made with hemp.

In 1941 Henry Ford built a care with plastic made with hemp and wheat straw.

Both Thomas Jefferson & George Washington grew hemp on their plantations.

The U.S. Census reported 8,327 hemp plantations of at least 2,000 acres in size. They never counted crops under that size.

The original Levi Strauss jeans were made from hemp.

In 1942 the government encouraged hemp farming to help in the war effort. They went as far in promotion as producing a movie: "Hemp for Victory."

The Declaration of Independence released on July 4, 1776 was written on hemp.

Gee, hemp is related to our independence! Maybe our government should again allow the growing of commercial hemp bringing nearly $400,000,000 of income to our American farmers!

A Few Legal Facts About Hemp

The United States DEA classifies ALL C. sativa varieties as marijuana even those varieties are not! Theoretically it is possible to get permission from the government to grow hemp, the DEA would require it to be secured by a fence of razor wire, dogs, guards, and lights, making it cost prohibitive.

The State Department of the U.S. must certify, each year, that foreign nations are cooperating with the war on drugs. The EU subsidizes its farmers to grow industrial hemp. Such nations are not on the list because the State Department can tell the difference between hemp and marijuana.

Hemp was grown commercially in the United States (with increasing interference by the government until the 1950's. It was doomed by the Marijuana Tax of 1937, which placed high, very high, taxes on marijuana and made it economically impossible to grow industrial hemp. Congress expected the continued growing of industrial hemp, but who could afford it! The Federal Bureau of Narcotics lumped industrial hemp with marijuana as does its successor, the DEA.

OVER 30 industrialized nations can and do distinguish hemp from marijuana. Why won't the U.S.? Canada now allows the growing of hemp.

Hemp is an awesome product and we can't grow it. Ron Paul has introduced legislation to once again allow the growing of this wonderful plant. I will keep you posted.

Be part of the movement to allow hemp to be grown in the United States once again. Join Versativa and help us make people aware of hemp and all the good qualities it has. It's good for the environment, the earth, the economy and now for your bank account as well. Go to Versativa and find out how.
